MY PASSION
I fill in many roles at once. Mother, partner, special education teacher, friend, daughter, sister. Still, if I had to describe myself in one word I would say: I am a WOMAN.
I live with this miracle. I love and deeply live through the thousand aspects of female existence. As I am walking the path of my one-time and unrepeatable journey, I embody all of the roles of classic femininity. The stages of my life are woven through by the joy of creation, this miracle has always been by my side.
I am 50 years old. In this stage of my life, creative energy demands to be prioritised. And now, the ZAIA jewellery pieces are born in under my guiding hands just as organically as my children grew up, cakes were made, the house was beautified, or the garden was blooming.
In ancient Greek mythology, the Goddess of the Earth is female. Gaia ripens, nourishes, creates, raises, lets go, embraces, covers, soothes, shakes, breaths fire. That is what us Women are. We are carrying the weight of life on our backs, we are creating beauty and although we desire to see a reflection in the eyes of our partner, we are still fighting for freedom, and we turn around our own axis every single day fully aware of our power.
My heart is filled with hope that many will get to know our jewellery at ZAIA, and they will also bring joy to many!

HISTORY OF ZAIA
ZAIA is a story of new love. A passion, in which respect and inspiration are mutual.
Piano music, delicious rosé, a string of pearls resting around your neck. ZAIA. When I started getting acquainted with these semi-precious stones, I was astonished by their diversity and uniqueness. I like the way the feel on my skin, I love looking at their brilliance, I love combining them with my items of clothing. It is a special feeling as the individual pearls become a piece of jewellery in in my hands. A piece of jewellery can only accomplish its mission only on the person wearing it when it makes their appearance unique. It is the same way as love is, where the Man and the Woman shine together.

THE UNIQUENESS OF ZAIA
Every piece of Zaia jewellery is either unique or made in limited numbers. There are not two jewels, two women, or two occasions that are the same. The same way a painter would not paint the same picture twice, I myself would also prefer to refrain from mass production.
The energies released through the joy of creation are what make ZAIA jewellery special, this gives the aura of my work.
We can only be real if we can identify with our own selves and are able to embrace our own uniqueness.
